• Our Rules and Regulations!

  Groove & Beats is prohibited from:
  
  
  - сome to our School if you have certain health restrictions for music lessons, and especially if you hide them from the administration of Groove & Beats and our teachers!
  
  - practicing music in any painful condition! In a painful condition associated with injuries to your body, your mental state, etc., where lessons on musical instruments can worsen your health (you should not hide from the teacher about your malaise before and during the lesson). By not reporting your malaise, you do so at your own peril and risk to your health! Students with signs of viral diseases are not allowed to attend classes. Take care of yourself and your teachers!;
  
  - be in a class with a body temperature above 37°;
  
  - come to our class or from other services if there is a person in your immediate environment who is sick or already sick with COVID or any form of SARS and with a temperature;
  
  - classes are allowed only 5 days after an elevated temperature;
  
  - drink alcoholic beverages, drugs, be under their influence, smoke (including e-cigarettes and IQOS!);
  
  - eat during classes;
  
  - be rude, rude, show aggression in any form, inappropriate behavior;
  
  - bring friends and relatives, pets to classes. A teacher and a student are present at the lesson. Parents, as a rule, wait in the hall and can be invited 5 minutes before the end of the lesson if the School student wants to show their successes and share emotions.
  
  - distract the teacher during the educational process;
  
  - call and write messages to us outside of working hours, except for rare force majeure circumstances;
  
  - move or adjust the drum kit yourself, turn on electronic drums and Sample Pad without the teacher's permission (resetting presets is strictly prohibited), combo amplifiers;
  
  - touch musical instruments that are not part of the lesson without the teacher's permission;
  
  - open windows and doors, use sockets without the teacher's permission;
  
  - litter;
  
  - come to classes in dirty clothes, shoes, with bare feet, slippers are at your service in the hall, at the entrance to the classrooms;
  
  - use damaged sticks to play drums and pads, before each game you are obliged to show the teacher the condition of your drum sticks! It is advisable to have 2 pairs of drumsticks with you: a set for an acoustic set, and one set of sticks only for the training pad and electronic drum set;
  
  - use musical equipment and any items of our School for purposes other than their intended purpose;
  
  - damage the equipment and interior of the School (otherwise you will be responsible for compensating for the equivalent cost of the damage caused);
  
  - leave a mess after class;
  
  - play musical instruments with open windows and doors;
  
  - use political and religious propaganda of any form;
  
  - secretly or without the teacher's consent, film fragments of classes on video;
  
  - conduct advertising and any other agitational actions without the consent of the Groove & Beats management;
  
  - forget or lose the notebook with an individual study plan (otherwise you will not be allowed to class!);
  
  - secretly and without the teacher's consent to leave the classrooms of our School during classes and solo rehearsals;
  
  - after 3 absences due to the absence of a workbook - the STUDENT finishes his studies at our School! If you came to study seriously, do not be afraid, this is not about you!
  
  - being late for more than 10 minutes (force majeure is possible in isolated cases) Being late is not a reason to postpone or continue the lesson.
  
  - failure to complete homework (for 2 unfinished homework - the STUDENT finishes his studies at our School!

  Assigning hours to a client is possible only if the lesson is paid in advance!
  
  Postponement of reserved hours of the School (applies to planned, additional lessons within the subscription, gift lessons, solo rehearsals) is possible no less than 24 hours before the appointed time.
  
  For absenteeism (or cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointed time) - a FINE in the form of the full cost of the reserved time (the amount is automatically deducted from your balance for paying for lessons).
  
  Postponement and completion of lessons are carried out within the paid academic month (for those who pay for the subscription within the month, the academic month is understood as 28 days from the date of making the current payment for this period).
  
  Payment for the next block of lessons (subscription) is made on the day of the last paid lesson (otherwise, you will not be allowed to take lessons). For students who have reached the age of 18, parents (or contact persons acting in their role) are responsible for payment, transfers, and cancellation of lessons.
  
  The subscription provides for the number of lessons for 1 academic month (28 calendar days). The number of lessons purchased from the subscription must be completed during this period. Classes are not transferred to the next subscription (exception: prolonged illness)
  
  Value your teachers' time!
  
  Students are allowed to take lessons only after paying a fine (applies to students with a zero balance for lessons)
  
  In the case of quarantine, force majeure, and other reasons beyond the School's control, lessons are not canceled, but are held online.
  
  Attention! In the event of an abrupt termination of the training subscription, the remaining lessons can be completed or transferred to relatives (friends) only until the end of the current year, or you can receive a refund of 50% of the amount of uncompleted lessons (only within 3 days after notification of the subscription termination, otherwise the cashback is reset), according to the cost of lessons from your subscription! (any bank fees are paid by the recipient)
  
  The ability to reserve time for solo rehearsals at our School is available only to our students (those who are engaged for more than 1 academic month under the School's subscription).
  
  By crossing the threshold of our School, paying for our services and starting to study, you automatically confirm that you have read and understood the Groove & Beats rules and agree to abide by them!
  
  By accepting our rules, you automatically consent to photo and video recording with the possibility of further use in the School's printed and online materials, our social media pages. These rules are constantly being supplemented and improved. We strongly urge you to follow our website for all changes! Enjoy making music and develop with us! ;)

• What do I need to learn to play drums?

  Don't hesitate, just contact us! We invite you to sign up for a trial lesson! You will receive answers to questions about training and the necessary equipment. We are waiting for you! :)

• What does trial lesson mean?

  A trial lesson is the first acquaintance with the School, the teacher, and the atmosphere of the classes. The duration of a trial lesson is 50 minutes (25 minutes - organizational issues, 25 minutes of practice on the instrument). Such a lesson is half the price of a one-time lesson!
  We would like to draw your attention to the fact that a trial lesson at our School is as individual as the main lessons.
  
  Lesson plan:
  1. Introduction of the teacher to the student.
  2. You tell about yourself, what your goal is, what you would like to pay attention to most in the lessons.
  3. The teacher gives you several exercises and diagnoses your skills, what you need to work on, etc.
  4. You will try to play the instrument with the help of the teacher, feel yourself at the instrument.
  5. Summary of the lesson. The student asks a question that interests him.

• What do you need to practice at home?

  A practice pad will come in handy (we will help you choose). A metronome – download the app to your phone, or purchase a separate device. 2 pairs of drumsticks. A large mirror at home is preferable.

• How are the lessons going?

  Lesson duration 50 minutes.
  a) We work according to the program. If there is a specific goal, a desire to develop, we make a plan. We provide a base, playing techniques, and develop musical thinking.
  b) We are addressing your question! Assistance in analyzing musical compositions. Technical points, analysis of parts and fillings, transformation of the exercise into MUSIC!

• Is it necessary to have a drum kit at home?

  After the first steps of learning, you will need practice on a real instrument. That is why we have prepared classes for our students for independent training on drums. You can practice with a phonogram, use the educational materials of our School, get advice on technical issues! We care about our students, and strive to make the learning process interesting and productive!

• What is the procedure for paying for tuition? What are the rules for canceling lessons and rehearsals?

  After the trial lesson, we choose the pace of learning, according to the subscription!
  Payment for the next block of lessons is made on the day of the last paid lesson.
  Postponement of lessons is possible a maximum of 24 hours before the lesson. Postponement involves working out during the current month (ask your teacher for the schedule for working out). Cancellation of a lesson less than 24 hours in advance is allowed in case of force majeure circumstances, with real evidence.
  
  Absenteeism on the day of the lesson - the lesson is lost (the cost of one lesson)!

• If I don't know the notes, will I succeed?

  From the first lessons you will delve into the basics of music theory. Timely completed homework, lack of persistence in exercises and a focus on results will provide you with the necessary practical and theoretical base for further development. This will help you try to start playing in a young musical group.
